I still can’t get my head around people who disown their kids because they come out and tell them that they are gay! I’m currently talking and helping a young male deal with his parents disowning him ; I don’t know him very well but he has messaged me and asked for help as he really just wants acceptance from his family! Whilst many families accept their child being gay there are many that don’t accept it.
The older generation, especially of European families seem not to accept it and think there is something wrong with their child, therefore the child lives their life hiding everything from their family including their sexuality! Studies have found that being gay has nothing to do with choice I believe you are born that way and no matter how much you tell this to families they wont listen!
Being gay is not a sin! Bullying is a sin! Being hateful to others is a sin! Being gay is NOT a sin….when are they ever going to accept it and stop harming their own flesh and blood!
Getting ready to meet the hosts of the show, so excited!!!!
This ex-Jehovah’s Witness girl has certainly morphed into another being, and I love it!
If you haven’t watched my film please do and come and say ‘Hi’ if you’re out and about on Oxford Street clubbing, or better still come to one of my parties at Hot Kandi!
ITS ALL CONFIRMED!! Trishy Dishy is going LIVE on CHANNEL 10 on the show STUDIO 10 next THURSDAY 17th APRIL for a live interview right across Australia at 10.20am next Thursday morning to tell my story for a chat on a couch with Ita Butterose and Jessica Rowe. Im just absolutely over the moon that I can get my story out and perhaps help people that are stuck in the religion that are feeling like they have no hope can view my film and give them something to think about! Woo Hoo I’m freaking out so excited! Lol
So, myself and two friends decided to have a joint birthday party at a club in Sydney. Trish was due to film that same night with Prince Hubertus and mentioned she may pass by to say Happy Birthday! Three hours into the party and my mobile phone goes “I’m 5 minutes away darling, can I come in with the film crew?” So they did!
Today marks my 5th Anniversary of when I had my 13 hour operation at RPA Hospital and was confined in hospital for 2 weeks! Touch wood I wont ever have to go through that again even though at the time it seemed I would never be able to cope I kept my thoughts positive and told myself I can do this!
It would have to have been the lowest point in my life but I got on with it and even though I have scars still on my body it made me re evaluate my life and made me the person I am today.
Life is just like a rollercoaster we have the ups and the downs but its how we manage the downs that gets us through it.
Just a few pics from last nights filming with the crew from Vienna! (Hubertus is the interviewer and in the blue jacket!) It was pretty surreal when I arrived having a camera on the street filming me walking towards them only to get to them and get ushered into a limo where the main interview took place while we were driving around! It was all very professional and I was asked several random questions but babbled off beautifully!!
We drove over the Harbour Bridge sighting the Opera House then went to Opera Bar then headed to good old Oxford Street to gate crash my Directors birthday party, then finally got the job finished inside Arq! Very excited to see the finished Documentary!
I’m a bit nervous with this TV crew arriving to film me tomorrow. Oh well I guess its nothing I haven’t done before … and I’ll just be myself …. I don’t think I could try to be anyone else anyway! LOL.

It really has been a huge week and its only Monday! Ha! It all feels surreal at the moment everything is moving so fast! First my movie “Witness My Journey” doing extremely well online with over 17,000 viewings in a day, and now winning “Best Float” for the Mardi Gras 2014 has put me on Cloud 9!
Thankyou to all of you who took the time and effort to post on my wall to congratulate me and my amazing team! It truly has been an overwhelming night and im trying to get my head around it! I would be nothing without the support network that i have and thankyou for being there for me and most importantly believing in me! I do the things i do because i genuinely enjoy bringing happiness to peoples lives! There is so much unhappiness in this world and if i can make a small difference to just one persons life then my job is done!
I dont know how im going to sleep now but just want you to know ive had the most amazing few days and all the hard work has certainly paid off to be recognised for our team effort with the float has certainly put a smile on my face!
Here’s to many more goodtimes in 2014 it is onwards and upwards and definitely going to be my year! xxx
I’m pretty sure most of my friends have been watching the film. I have been sent the most beautiful messages from friends that have watched the film and telling me how its inspired them to be a better person or to live life how they want and to never lose sight of your dream. There really has been an overwhelming response from everyone who has watched the film and I hope it helps you understand me that little bit more (no I don’t think you will ever work me out…even I have trouble doing that) but understand where I’ve come from and why I do the things I do in life.
I really just want happiness and I thrive on meeting new people and bringing people together for good times and to be honest I am so lucky to be able to do that! From where I was 10 years ago to where I am now is just a complete turnaround. I cant thank you all enough for all of your support and well wishes to me because if it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t be in this position right now.
I also want to say thank you to everyone for believing in me and truly hope the film can help you in some way positive to just learn to never lose sight of your dream and to stay strong and no matter what obstacles get in your path to focus on why you are so determined to make a positive change in your life. I feel I made a positive step in the right direction because I hoped and dreamed someday that I would be free! Free to be able to be ME for once and not have anyone control me! I have lost but I have also gained even more! I am stronger than I have ever been and my past has made me who I am today! It definitely is onwards and upwards in my world and I hope it is in yours as well!
